Responsibilities:
1.
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable financial rules and regulations.
2.
Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is recorded accurately and timely.
3.
Develop, implement, and maintain budgeting systems, conducting regular budget reviews to identify variances and initiating corrective actions.
4.
Prepare and record journal entries for income and expenses, ensuring that business transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP.
5.
Conduct regular ledger and account reconciliations to prevent and resolve any discrepancies.
6.
Collaborate with external auditors, providing all necessary information and documentation for annual audits.
7.
Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the finance department.
8.
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.
Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
2.
Minimum of 3
years of experience in accounting or related role.
3.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including financial reporting, general ledger, budgeting, and journal entries.
4.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong in Excel.
5.
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
6.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
